
Inside Havanna Nights
The City of Virginia Beach has never been a favorite place of mine. With over regulated fun killing and a tendency to have unwelcoming manner. It has been like the armpit of resort cities. I know my general disdain for Virginia Beach is showing.
Then this new concept arrives it ‘s called Town Center, which has completely revamped it’s image. I was told by a musician friend that I respect, to check out Havana Nights despite after having gone to other Va. Beach venues kicking and screaming. The bad side was it took a half hour to find parking. Then all bad ceased.
When I entered the door, I was warmly greeted and could feel a great ambiance as I perused the establishment. I notice the place was a step above the norm in it’s decor. After this I went into their night club area, which was a comfortable and well designed room. Unlike many venues this was a listeners paradise. The music was very good and true to jazz format. The musician were exceptional and the sound was at a decibel level that made conversation a non yelling and screaming act. I would tell a friend to visit Havana Nights.
