Looking for gloves that fit well and that are closely associated with shoe color is so hard. Searching for really nice gloves can be a full time job. Some like wool or knit gloves, some like leather, others like the synthetics that are readily available. The leather gloves with wool or synthetic lining are now available in most stores. It seems there is little imagination when it comes to winter gloves.
When buying gloves the first thought is they should keep your hands warm. Then think of the style of the glove. There are days when the beauty of the glove or whether it matches is meaningless. After having walked New York streets on a cold day without them while looking for that perfect color and style in the freezing weather. I have bought a pair that just protected my hands, and then look later for that perfect cute one. Style should never secondary to common sense. It might be smart to do as I do. Buy the gloves before they are needed and leave them in the coats that you would likely wear them with. If you are as fussy as I am about details, this might remedy the matching concerns. With all the different types of gloves available it may make sense to purchase long before you need them. Then you can make a purchase of the glove that is what you really want.
